We are three board-certified pediatricians and best friends who come with over 35 years of combined experience caring for kids – from newborns taking their first breath to children with all types of illnesses.  As hospitalists (Brooke and Hadley), we’ve seen it all: brief illnesses in otherwise healthy kids, new and complex diagnoses, and chronic conditions requiring ongoing care.  Working in the hospital keeps our knowledge sharp and allows us to collaborate with a wide range of specialists to provide the best care possible.

 

We balance this with outpatient expertise, thanks to our teammate Saskia, who has cared for newborns through young adults.  She’s in the trenches with families every day, navigating everything from developmental milestones to the everyday (and not-so-everyday) illnesses that come with growing up.

When you text us, you aren’t just getting one doctor – you are getting three! We work together, combining our perspectives and expertise, to ensure you’re getting thoughtful, well-rounded advice.  Medicine isn’t one-size-fits-all – every family is different, and what works for one might not work for another.

    • Preparing for a pediatric appointment of any kind. What questions should I be asking? What is the doctor looking for? What might be some possible next steps?

    • Debriefing after a visit. Translating medical jargon so you can better understand what is coming next.

    • Child development questions. Is this typical? Should I seek further evaluation?

    • Is your child going through an acute illness and you feel like you could use some additional support and guidance? We are happy to provide that for you!

    • Parenting techniques. What is the best way to approach this particular problem? Help with conflicting information from multiple sources. Weighing the pros and cons of a decision with a parent.

  • We are available to chat between the hours of 7am-10pm EST. Response time is the same day. Between the hours of 10pm - 7am EST you are welcome to send messages and you will get a response in the morning.

  • You will be charged for your service at the time of purchase. You may save the MPF phone number in your contacts. You will be charged at the first of the month (or every 6 months) depending on your chosen plan. You may cancel anytime.

  • Children ages 0-18.


  • We are happy to share our knowledge and experiences with you, but as we are not doing complete history and physicals, we don’t have the tools we would need to provide treatment. We are more than happy to talk with you before your doctor visits or after to help think of questions to ask or to debrief and explain medical jargon.

  • For anyone who asks a question that we feel is not appropriate for us to answer, we will inform you right away, suggest an alternative and continue to support you while you navigate next steps

  • No we cannot prescribe medications. MPF provides knowledgeable support and guidance but this is not telehealth or medical advice. Without a physical exam and a full medical history, we are not able to diagnose and prescribe treatment
